We have had a generous group of supporters so far. A big thank you to: Howard Swenson Family, Swine Vet Clinic, Wakefield Pork, Nicollet County Pork Producers, Nicollet Lions Club, Peters Pork Farm Inc., Bill McCabe, Ken and Patsy Rossow, and, Jeff and Ann Volk. We have two verbal commitments on the way soon too. Our total to date is: $19,770. Thank you to these wonderful donors for their support in helping us reach this $25,000 match. On the home stretch for Friday. We report to them after the May 1 deadline. Still time to donate, as we can pick it up or drop off at Hometown Bank.
Exciting news! The Nicollet County Ag Society (fair board) received a $25,000 matching grant for the hog barn and show arena project. We are over half way already. Are you from an ag family or business? Were you a former 4-H member and learned so much from that organization? Do you want to honor a deceased loved one who was active at the fair or 4-H? Did you grow up loving our county fair and enjoy all we offer? If so, please consider helping us achieve the full $25,000 for this project. The foundation gave us a May 1 deadline. You will be recognized on a hog pen ($1,500), the judging arena ($5,000) or on a donor wall sign for any gift under $1,500. We would be most grateful for any contribution. Checks can be made out to: Nicollet County Ag Society and put "hog barn" on memo line. They can me mailed to Nicollet County Ag Society, PO Box 292, St. Peter, MN 56082. They can also be delivered to Hometown Bank in St. Peter to ensure meeting the May 1 deadline.
