Hey! I still have room on my laptop bag for a few buttons (I had a cool Pride themed Star Wars one, but it fell off, so I need a Pride button).

What should I get?

Fun fact: this song is cowritten by Semisonic front man (and MN native) Dan Wilson.
That’s Ben | MN Wedding Videographer for capturing this moment!

Hey everyone! I’ll be out at Spirit of the Lakes Festival spinning some millennial nostalgia and throwbacks- I’ll even promise to toss in a few current tunes for the kiddos out there.
Come for the great music and stay for the fireworks- I hear it’s the largest display in the state!

Happy “you can play this song accurately” day to all who celebrate. This being, obviously, the most important celebration happening today.

It won’t be a 4th of July on Saturday again until 2037.

Wow! Minneasota Photographer 📍 managed to capture my exact personality in one photo.
This is a perfect representation of the cheery soul who wants to DJ your wedding. 🤣❤️

The only thing which rivals the amount of music I listen to is the number of books I read in a given year. Yeah, your DJ is a nerd; it happens.

Wedding season just started, so I tried to keep it kind of light this month.

1. My favorite read of June was “Seek Shelter Immediately.” It went so many places I didn’t anticipate!

2. I gave John Grisham a fair shake and read four of his books. He just doesn’t do it for me. I don’t feel compelled to read any more of his work after this.

3. My daughter is in the Percy Jackson musical this month, so I wanted to get through the series so we could discuss the characters.

4. I always have time to read a Stephen King novel.

5. I read a book about the downfall of those fellas from Germany in the 40s because it’s nice to know that tyrants can be defeated. Apropos of nothing in particular, of course.

Got some new shoes for Father’s Day- which means tonight’s wedding is going to be a BANGER.
I have a 100% mega party success rate when I’m wearing new shoes. Must be the souls.

Great music is only one ingredient in a successful party- the mix also needs the friends and family who love you and enthusiastically encourage you.
Any dance with this much love will be an amazing success, I promise you. ❤️

If you’re coming to Mayor Her’s celebration tonight, come say hi, I’ll be the DJ from 7-10 tonight!
