WELCOME to the Frank Adams 5K Walk/Run! Since its start in 2006, the 5K Walk/Run has become a tradition among St.Paul, Minnesota residents. A legacy celebrated among his friends and family, residents have embraced the Frank Adams 5K Walk/Run and Rondo Days Festival, as the key event to showcase their city and celebrate the life of Frank Adams. Frank Adams was a dedicated community advocate, who me
t every goal he set for himself. He lived to educate youth about the importance of health, and motivate the community to get involved in fitness based events and activities. He participated in 5K marathons for 10 years, before collaborating with founder of the Inner Cities Athletic Association (I.C.A.A.) Henry Combs, to establish the 5K Walk/Run in 2006. It was renamed in his honor, following his passing in 2013. The Frank Adams 5K Walk/Run held every July during the annual Rondo Days Festival celebrating Minnesota's African-American stories, achievements and culture, is a community movement where enthusiastic walkers and volunteers, and beginner and experienced runners come together to promote fitness, community involvement and charitable causes. The course highlights St.Paul's picturesque and historic residential architecture, allowing participants to become one with the city. LOCATION START/FINISH:

REGISTRATION: Youth $10 - $20 Adult $20
Check-In @ 8:00 am. Walk/Run begins promptly @8:30 am. Event is open to all ages. All registered 5K Walk/Run participants are invited to walk or run in honor of Frank Adams. Awards will be given to the top 3 runners of each age groups (10 yrs & Under; 11-19 yrs, 20-29 yrs, 30-39 yrs, 40-49 yrs, 50-59 yrs; 60 yrs & above). Come with family and bond while showing your children the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. Then enjoy the Rondo Days Festival! Proceeds from the Frank Adams 5K Walk/Run go to the Inner Cities Athletic Association (I.C.A.A.), to provide scholarships for low-income athletes. The Frank Adams Walk/Run committee is committed to creating a great impact on future generations, by providing solutions for low-income athletes to succeed, and developing active positive role models in the community.
