When planning a big outdoor festival, you always worry about what the weather will do. Last Saturday, as our vendors and volunteers were setting up, a wild storm blew in. It seemed to go on forever! When the wind started knocking over tents, festival officials decided to bring the festival inside. Every vendor whose merchandise or food could be moved, relocated to the hallways of our school. The others, which relied on big ovens, like Revival and WildEarth WoodFired Pizza, did their best to keep their fires going. While Sawtooth Brothers and The OK Factor played their sets inside, the skies began to clear. Once Red Yarn took the stage, the sun was shining again, and the officials decided that the rest of the day should be outside. Our intrepid vendors picked up their wares and lugged them back outside -- always with smile! By the time The Okee Dokee Brothers hit the stage, everything was up and running, and the sun shone for Ellis, Annie Mack Music, and Nicholas David. We wish to thank our vendors, which helped make our day-long festival so much fun ... and taste so good!
