Join Hamline Midway Coalition and the Osluv Project for a family-friendly showcase of local air quality science, resources, and technology! Learn about ways to advocate for cleaner air for all through free workshops, games, and activities. We will have free prints and shirts featuring new art made by Artist in Resident, Bayou Bay! Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, quiet room available and high quality masks provided. Help us make this event accessible by avoiding strongly scented products and staying home if sick.

Our friends at Reclaim are excited to announce a new q***r and trans young adult group for ages 18-25 that will be starting Oct.6th 2026!

Reclaiming Connection is a welcoming, affirming group therapy space for q***r and trans young adults to build connection while developing practical skills for healthier, more meaningful relationships. Making friends and finding community can be hard. Social anxiety, self-doubt, low self-esteem, depression, past experiences, or fear of rejection can sometimes get in the way of the connections we want.

Together, attendees will explore and practice:

Making and maintaining friendships
Building confidence and self-esteem

Managing social anxiety and self-doubt
Navigating conflict, communication, and relationship repair
Setting and maintaining healthy boundaries
Finding affirming community and creating a sense of belonging

You’ll have opportunities to practice new skills and learn from shared experiences in a supportive therapeutic space. Our q***r and trans communities have historically been a powerful source of resilience and strength. Reclaiming Connection is a space to build a community where you can feel seen, supported, and be authentically yourself!

Cost: Sessions are $50, RECLAIM accepts insurance and offer sliding fee scale because finances should not be a barrier to care!

Location: RECLAIM! 2446 University Ave. W. Saint Paul MN

Days and time: Tuesdays from 2:00-3:30 PM 10/06/26-12/15/26

Our thanks to Visit Saint Paul for being fabulous renters! This month, they hosted their September VSP meeting at 825, featuring a Rondo panel that brought together Tatiana Freeman of Aurora - St. Anthony Neighborhood Development Corporation, Damon Mason of Rondo Community Land Trust, Jonathan Palmer of Rondo Center of Diverse Expressions, and our very own Mercedes Yarbrough for a meaningful conversation about the history and ongoing development of this historic Saint Paul neighborhood! Released from the court’s conventions, they discover earnest shepherds and ironic aristocrats – along with joy and forgiveness. Soon, closed hearts open, love transforms, and community takes root.

How do you get around the Frogtown Arts Festival? Here's a guide to all the fabulous fun you can have, and when & where on University Avenue the party is popping. Check out the Artist Member Takeover at 825 Arts, Hair braiding with Grace's Hair Braiding, Community Conversations at Demera, Workshops in the pocket park, vendors in the market, Art Trucks in front of Ain Dah Yung, and the Kid's Zone in the Trung Nam parking lot!

It's time for a Community Conversation, so let's meet our facilitators! First, from 2:30-3:30, join When The Borders Cross Home: A Community Conversation with Patti Kemeya, then from 3:30-4:30 join the Nu Skool of Africkan American Thought for a conversation on Panafrikanism!

These conversations will be held during the fest from 2:30-4:30 inside of Demera Ethiopian Restaurant, the perfect spot to grab some food and get thinking. Don't forget, this year's Festival features FREE TRANSIT on Metrotransit! Go to frogtownaf.org to learn more.
