Festival of Nativities - Saint Joseph He Came! We invite all to come celebrate the birth of Christ at this inter-faith exhibit of nativities from all around our community. December 5-9, 2024.

The Festival of Nativities displays hundreds of nativities and features live musical performances. If you would like to your family's Nativity art or sculpture displayed at this exhibit, please send us an email.

Our 2024 Festival of Nativities was a complete success in every way.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙏

For coming, for serving, for loaning your beautiful nativities to us, for telling your friends, for sharing your talents, for uniting with us in faith and love.

We testify that Christ will someday return. “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together” (Isaiah 40:5). And we will rejoice together.

We’re thrilled to feature a special performance by three talented brothers playing the violin, cello and viola. 🎶 These young musicians have been mastering their craft since they could walk—as seen in this adorable photo of Seth as a toddler taking notes from his big brother! Who knew years later they would have this beautiful experience of performing together. 📸

🎻 Meet Our Performers: YIMO Piano Trio 🎻 🎻🎹

This YIMO Piano Trio has been playing together for three months, but the group itself was formed in 2022 by three St. Joseph students. The trio was created to bring more music into the community and to share their love of performing. 🎶✨

This impressive ensemble has been selected to represent St. Joseph High School at the prestigious "Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition" in 2025 —one of the largest and most esteemed chamber music competitions in the world! 🌎🎼

We are thrilled to feature the YIMO String Trio as part of our Festival of Nativities and can't wait for you to experience their incredible talent. 🎻🎻🎹

🎶 Meet our Performers: Michelle Martin 🎹

Michelle is All. Things. Musical. 🎶

She is an accomplished pianist 🎹, choral director 🎤, and has taught 🎹 privately for many years.

In addition to accompanying various musical numbers on the piano this weekend, she will be leading our Messiah Sing-along 🎶🙌.

She has coordinated and conducted multiple Messiah Sing-alongs before and is totally in her realm when she does! She believes in the power of hearts ❤️ and voices 🎵 joining together—"it deepens the meaning of life and spreads the spirit of goodwill. "✨🌟

We are so grateful for Michelle and her hours and hours of volunteer work with our congregational choir 🎶 and with this Festival of Nativities! 🎄💕

🎶 Meet Our Performer: Heather Fa’anunu 🎶
Performing Friday, December 6 @6:30pm

✨ Heather is an accomplished soprano vocalist and pianist who enjoys sharing her musical talents to bless the lives of others. She was a member of the Ypsilanti High School Chamber Singers for four years and spent three summers touring Europe as a soloist with the choir.

✨ She later studied vocal performance at Brigham Young University-Idaho where she joined a collegiate choir. Since then, she has performed and recorded a CD in Brazil, South America, while serving as a volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

✨ While living in Arizona, she played the lead role in the production of the Broadway Musical “Mary Poppins.” (Did you guess that from the picture?!)

✨ Most recently, Heather performed with the local “Monday Musical Club” in their concert series and participates in her church choir. This weekend Heather will perform sacred Christmas classics like O Holy Night, The Lord’s Prayer, and Ave Maria.

Heather, her husband Ben and their five children, reside in Stevensville and enjoy music in their home and lives. 💕
