The St. Joseph, Missouri Marathon will be held next Saturday, September 26. The race will take runners along most of Parkway System and through the downtown area. This means several roads throughout the city will be impacted and could cause some minor delays if you live along or near the course.

Please be mindful of the police officers and volunteers helping direct traffic in order to keep the participants safe.

The first time I trained for this marathon, I was freshly postpartum — exhausted, overwhelmed, and learning how to find myself again. Running taught me that I could be a Mom and still chase big goals. I could be tired and still show up. I could struggle and keep moving forward… and I did just that when I crossed that finish line in 2025.

I’m running the 2026 St. Joseph, MO marathon again, but I’m a different woman:
Growth bound, Stronger, Trained, and Confident!

This marathon will mark Day 1,000 of my running streak in the Measly Mile Mafia — 1,000 days/miles of showing up through the good, the hard, the messy, and everything in between.

The first time, I ran to prove I could do something hard. This time, I’m running to celebrate how far I’ve come.

Same marathon. Different woman. New RESULTS!
