We've received many questions over the last four days via email and social media. Please know, we're reading every single one of them and responding as quickly as we can. Here are the top three FAQ's.

Based on your requests, another medal/packet pickup option has been added on Sunday, 9/27 at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles. This is a drive-thru pickup in the parking lot.

Please have your bib number and an ID. A friend can pick up your packet. Have them bring a copy of your ID or have a picture of it on their phone. Find your bib number: https://rb.gy/wcaubc

There are two other options as well:

INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION:

The race will run in the rain, but lightning out on course could cause a start delay (up to 30 minutes) or a black flag. We will advise via social media and as long as it is safe at race village, via our race announcer.

PLEASE BE SAFE: If bad weather is a possibility, carry a phone or know your emergency contact's phone number. Aid stations or other runners with phones do not have your contacts.
Consider dropping to a shorter distance to be safe and still have an official finish time. The timing mats will automatically record your shorter distance. If dropping to the 5k, that start time is 10 minutes after the 13 / 20 / 26 start.

IF THERE IS A START DELAY:
Stay in your car or seek shelter 3 blocks north of race village at the underground garage at Illinois St just W of 1st street. We will try again at 7:15 or 7:30.

IF THERE IS A BLACK FLAG DURING THE RACE:
Make your way to shelter quickly. When clear, find a way safely back. Shelter options are available on the map in this post.
If still on site, aid and water station personnel will know nearby shelter options (these are unofficial shelter recommendations). Know a phone number to call in case of inclement weather and ask aid station personnel or another runner to use their phone to arrange for a way back Timing clocks will stop. All starters will be considered official finishers for finish streak purposes. But no official times will be given after a black flag. 26 miles is a long course. Black flag conditions could be localized on the South end of course with the North end still finishing for a short time, based on weather specifics.

COURSE UPDATE! Fox Valley Marathon Races runners will be given temporary access to the river trail past the East River Trail Geneva construction for Sunday morning. The trail section is packed gravel. Thank you, Geneva!
