It’s that magical time of year again! Albans Festival of Lights returns for its 36th annual celebration, promising a bigger and brighter display than ever. Albans City Park will once again be illuminated with thousands of dazzling holiday lights, hand-made Christmas light displays, and festive decorations. Expect to see many of your favorite displays, along with exciting

new additions like Bluey, Minecraft and more, guaranteed to bring joy and holiday spirit to visitors of all ages. Santa will once again be at the Santa House at Roadside Park, welcoming children and families nightly from 6 PM - 9 PM, November 29 - December 23. Stop by to meet Santa in a festive setting and capture a perfect holiday memory and take your own photo with Santa. This FREE event is open to the public, so gather your loved ones for a holiday experience you’ll cherish. We gladly accept either monetary or non-perishable food donations. Proceeds support the operation of the lights, and all food donations go directly to local food banks.

There are only two nights remaining to experience the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park — tonight (December 23) and Final Night on December 26.
Please note: the Festival is closed December 24 & 25.

Tonight is also the final night of the Santa House at Roadside Park. If visiting Santa is on your list, this is your last chance for the season.

If you’ve been meaning to make one more drive, take one last photo, or slow down and enjoy the glow — now’s the time. We look forward to seeing you before we close for the season.

It’s the final weekend — hard to believe.

With Christmas just days away, this weekend marks the final full weekend to experience the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park and the Santa House at Roadside Park.

If this season has flown by for you too, now’s the time to make that drive, play the carols, and take it all in one more time. Whether it’s a tradition you’ve kept for years or something you’ve been meaning to do, the lights are still shining and ready for you.

The Festival of Lights is open nightly from 6–9 PM through December 26. Closed on December 24 & 25 with a final night on December 26. Your chance to visit Santa at Roadside Park is open through Monday, December 23, also 6–9 PM.

Both events are free to attend, with donations always appreciated.

Christmas is next week. Let’s slow down, soak it in, and enjoy these last nights of the season together.

We’re Back Open Tonight

The roads are clear and we’re ready to welcome you back to the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park tonight from 6–9 PM.

There’s still snow on the ground and the park looks beautiful under the lights. If you’re heading out, please drive carefully and enjoy the season.

The Santa House at Roadside Park is also open tonight from 6–9 PM.

Festival of Lights Closed Tonight Due to Road Conditions
In an abundance of caution, and due to quickly deteriorating conditions on City Park Road and Dry Ridge Road, we have made the decision to postpone the St. Albans Festival of Lights for tonight.

We had every intention of staying open, but the safety of motorists, Parks crews, and volunteers must come first. With road conditions worsening faster than expected, closing for the evening is the safest choice for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding. We will share updates as conditions improve.

A perfect Friday night in St. Albans

If you’re looking for something festive to do tonight, the lights are on and ready for you. The St. Albans Festival of Lights is open tonight from 6–9 PM at St. Albans City Park. Grab the family, turn on some Christmas music (WWSA 96.9FM), and enjoy the drive through the displays.

Afterward, make a stop at the Santa House at Roadside Park, also open tonight from 6–9 PM. Kids can visit with Santa, share their wish lists, and you’re welcome to take your own photos.

Both are free to attend, and if you’re able, monetary or non-perishable food donations are always appreciated to help support the Festival and local food pantries.

We’re Back Open Tonight at the St. Albans Festival of Lights

The roads are clear, the snow is still on the ground, and the park looks beautiful. We’re open tonight for you to experience the snow-covered Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park.

Weather permitting, we’ll be open nightly from 6–9 PM through December 26
(closed December 24 & 25).

And don’t forget to stop by the Santa House at Roadside Park, open nightly through December 23, 6–9 PM.

Drive safe and enjoy the lights — it’s a perfect night for it.

The Annual Saint Albans Festival of Lights is an ever-growing public display of seasonal decorations that light up the City Park Property in Historical Saint Albans, West Virginia. 2019 Hours of Operation: Hours: 6pm - 9pm Nightly Open 11/29 - 12/23 Closed Dec. 24th, Dec 25th Re-opens Dec. 26th Come by, bring the kids to meet Santa and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season.
