It's with a heavy heart that we must announce that the Cozy Castle Cinema will be closing at the end of March, 2026.
Several factors went into making this decision. The main factor is attendance is drastically down since COVID and has only gotten worse. This has put an enormous financial burden on the Pub to maintain the theater and is no longer possible for it to do so.
Additionally, technical support has been very difficult, and increasingly so, to get support from. And pressing matters are continuing to mount.
Please understand that this breaks our hearts too, We have enjoyed the theater as well. The space will remain open for private parties, company parties and for the Thursday night SLV Cinema Society. We truly hope you can understand our position on this and we thank you for your patronage.
