Hey everyone, we've had to make the tough decision not to do a show this year.
The simple explanation is that, as a family, we’ve just had to put our priorities in other areas this year. As the season approached, we had to face reality on where sacrifices had to be made. The amount of time the show takes to put on, doesn’t allow for you to “squeeze it in”. It’s a substantial commitment on many different fronts – technical programming, networking, manual labor setup, design, and financial. We just hope there’s understanding that we didn’t make the decision in haste, or lightly.
I think the main question will likely be is this for good? Speaking frankly, we don’t know. It wouldn’t be productive to speculate right now. There’s a lot of things we need to consider and we’re just not at a place, right now, to objectively evaluate them all.
All we can say, for sure, is thank you. All the pictures of the little ones in front of the display, the messages of family memories/traditions you’ve told us about, the kids hanging outside of car windows dancing to “raining tacos”….ya’ll are why we do/did this. We hope you all have a fantastic and safe holiday season.
