The 18th annual California Capital Airshow, presented by Sacramento County in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova, makes its return to Mather Airport on July 13 and 14, 2024. Headlined by the world-renowned Italian jet team, Frecce Tricolori, this event will feature an extraordinary lineup of performers, miles of ground attractions, and the anticipated return of nighttime aerial performances with pyrotechnics and fireworks.
The Airshow will be part of Frecce Tricolori’s first North American tour in more than 30 years and is the only location in the Western United States where spectators can witness their full performance. Frecce Tricolori consists of 10 high-flying Aermacchi MB-339 aircraft, making it the Guinness World Record holder of the most jet aircraft in a military aerobatic display team.

Good afternoon .S. Navy Blue Angels fans!
Today we had the opportunity to fly one of Orlando, Florida’s hometown heroes, Janan Hodges, prior to the Air Dot Show Tour at the Orlando Sanford International Airport taking place this weekend.
Janan Hodges was selected as the 2024 District Teacher of the Year for Seminole County Public Schools in Central Florida! With a passion for education since 2002, Janan's journey has seen her excel in various roles from teaching PE and coaching sports to inspiring young minds in core subjects. Her innovative approach includes using music videos for phonics, and original math chants, and serving as a Math Instructional Coach to empower fellow educators. Janan's dedication extends beyond the classroom as she leads training for new teachers and volunteers in her community. Committed to building strong relationships, Janan believes in the power of collaboration for success.
Our Key Influencer Program aims to showcase the hardwork and dedication of people who give so much to their local communities. Every airshow nominates a key influencer and they are given a backseat ride on the Wednesday before the airshow by Lt. Connor O’Donnell, Blue Angel #7.

Good morning fans!
Today we had the opportunity to fly one of Montgomery, Alabama’s hometown heroes, Catherine Kenny, prior to the Beyond the Horizon Air & Space show at Maxwell Air Force Base.
Catherine has been an educator for 26 years, making significant and enduring contributions to the school system and the community. She helped develop the Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Connections in Education curriculum, which has impacted almost 800,000 students since the program’s inception in 2007. Catherine serves as an Advisory Council member for Right of Passage a female youth detention center at Mt. Meigs, Alabama, and as a volunteer for Reality and Truth Ministries serving meals to Montgomery's homeless community.

Teamwork and precision. 🎯
We recently had the opportunity to work with the U.S. Army’s 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), conducting a HALO jump out of the back of our C-130J Super Hercules, better known as Fat Albert.
Exercises like this show the joint interoperability of the U.S. military, allowing us to accomplish missions in a wide-variety of situations.

AE1 Chelsie Jenkins, Duval County, Florida.
Chelsie serves as a member of the Blue Angel's Avionics Team. Navy Aviation Electronics technicians and Aviation Electricians, as well as Marine Corps F/A-18 aircraft electrical systems technicians and squadron aircraft communications/navigation radar systems technicians comprise the Avionics work center.
They are responsible for the performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and timely troubleshooting of F/A-18 and C-130 electronic flight controls, communication, navigation, radar, mission computers, display systems and fuel quantity.
