The 2020 Sacramento Japanese Film Festival is cancelled. We will be back in July 2021. The Crest Theatre is closed and they are watching and waiting for word from the state and local governments to re-open. We wish everyone to stay safe and healthy.

It's a wrap, folks. Thank you to all who attended, sponsored, supported, and volunteered at this year's successful film festival. We hope you enjoyed this year's line up of films. We would like to congratulate Brad Bennett for winning this year's Emerging Film Maker Award!

It's Day 3 and the last day of the festival. We have 2 great films today, beginning at 2 PM with our comedy, "What a Wonderful Family! 2." Then at 4:20 PM, our closing film, "Forgive-Don't Forget," this year's documentary. Come join us in our presentation of the 2019 Emerging Film Maker Award to director Brad Bennett. See you at the Crest!

Day 2 of the festival is here and we have 4 great films beginning at 10:30 AM with our classic "High and Low," followed by our anime at 2 PM with "Okko's Inn," then at 4 PM "Miko Girl" and our evening show is "The Third Murder." Grab your popcorn and spend the day with us!
