🪵🌿 3 FREE WOODEN CABLE SPOOLS! 🌿🪵

We have THREE wooden cable spools available FREE at Center Street Marketplace (by Roots) in downtown Rutland.

Each one is about 2 ft in diameter × 2 ft tall — perfect for:
✨ Rustic garden tables
✨ DIY outdoor furniture
✨ Plant stands
✨ Creative upcycle projects

First come, first served.
We’ll be taking whatever’s left to the dump tomorrow, so swing by ASAP if you want one!

Update: 9:30am Tuesday. They are still there. We will wait until tomorrow morning to get rid of them but hurry on over as there has been lots of interest. Vote and then pick up your spool! 🙂

Center Street Sledding is taking place tonight from 6 to 8 PM in Downtown Rutland, Vermont, as part of Come Alive Outside’s Rutland Winterfest!

This event has grown significantly over the years, with an estimated 1,500 attendees, and temporary road closures are necessary to ensure the safe setup and operation of the sledding course.

🚧 Road Closures – Tuesday, February 24 🚧

• 11:00 PM: Center Street (Court Street to Wales Street)

Approximately 2:00 PM:
• Center Street (Wales Street to Merchants Avenue)
• Wales Street (Washington Street to Center Street) will become two-way at 2 PM

Event Timing
• 5:30 PM: Early sledding access for individuals with special medical or sensory needs
• 6:00–8:00 PM: Winterfest Night Sledding open to the public

We are so grateful to The Hub CoWorks for hosting Campfire Stories with the Paper Poet. The streetside conference room is such a great asset to our community. Come Alive Outside uses this space a lot for trainings and meetings. We ❤️you Hub CoWorks for donating this space this year for Winterfest!

The Hub CoWorks was happy to support Come Alive Outside by hosting a Rutland Winterfest event on Friday, February 20. A dozen people gathered together in the Streetside Conference Room for a creative writing workshop with The Paper Poet, Bianca Amira Zanella. While it was a blustery Friday outside, attendees shared warm drinks along with their wonderful words.
