If you’re the friend people say “don’t encourage them” about every Halloween… we need to talk.
We’re going to encourage you.
The costume. The character. The overwhelming enthusiasm. We want it all!
We want you to join us behind the scenes for Halloween @ the Havenstone - Photo Gathering & More (Ember Season)...
On October 24, we’re looking for a few Halloween-loving people to bring Halloween to life at The Havenstone in Rushville, Ohio from 5–8 p.m. Pose, interact with guests, and be the person somebody definitely should have known better than to encourage.
We are aiming for up to 5 Halloween enthusiasts in one of our many settings. Here’s what we’ve imagined so far, but we want other ideas if you have them:
• the Grand Meadow: a glamorous diva who hasn’t quite realized she’s dead.
• the Pumpkin Patch: a caretaker who takes her pumpkins a little personally or maybe a scarecrow.
• the Playroom: a living doll among the dolls.
• the Stone Throne: a king, queen, emperor—or something of the sort.
• the Quarry: a ghostly couple or maybe a tie-in with skeleton ridge.
Have a costume you already love? A character of your own? Another Havenstone setting in mind? We want to hear it. No modeling experience needed—just a love of dressing up and making the evening memorable.
Confirmed character participants get free admission, a portrait session with seventyonethree photography at the event, and a really fun evening. Note: all pictures in this post are taken by seventyonethree photography at the Havenstone (we don't do the whole "inspo photo" thing)
Message or comment with your costume idea, preferred setting, and whether you’re available October 24 from 5–8 p.m. We’ll work it out from there.
And while we’re encouraging things: our new bathtub chairs and couch still need a setting name as we've been given a firm 'NO' on calling it "The Lathering Place" from one of our sons.... So drop your suggestion in the comments—or tag the Halloween person we absolutely should not encourage.
