Creativity and joy are understandably hard to access right now, for so many. What we’re experiencing collectively as a country is traumatic, overwhelming and downright scary. As the founder of this event, I’d like to think that the very nature of this creative conference is a testament to my emphatic support of diversity, inclusion and creating safe spaces for all women’s voices, but I want to be crystal clear on my position. What’s happening in our country with regard to immigration enforcement, racial profiling and abuse of citizens exercising their right to protest is unacceptable. Immigrants and all People of Color are vital members of the America I know and love. I am firmly dedicated to elevating the voices and stories of women from all cultures, backgrounds and lifestyles, and to standing up firmly against injustices carried out against them and their loved ones. If this resonates and aligns with your values, please follow along and become part of our community. We need each other now, more than ever.

We’re looking for wild and authentic women, to gather where the mountains meet the sky, and the conversation is different. Join us for a soul-filling creative wellness escape in the mountains of Southern California. September 25-27, Society of Wildflowers presents Camp Wildflower, an immersive retreat just for women. Create, release, connect and heal in the stunning wilderness of the San Bernardino Mountains.

Please join us in welcoming Crystal Domi, the founder of Creative Comadre, a healing arts studio and creative sanctuary for women longing to reconnect with themselves through intentional, soul-centered artmaking. Drawing from her lived experience as a mother, artist, and recovering self-sabotager, Crystal teaches creativity as a practice of emotional intelligence, spiritual grounding, and self-compassion…not performance or perfection. Crystal is the creator of the Muse Box, a seasonal creative ritual designed to help women process emotions, honor life’s transitions, and reconnect with their intuition through her signature DOMI Way process. Crystal’s work lives at the intersection of art and soul care, rooted in the belief that creativity is not a luxury…it is medicine.

Gather with women in the quiet beauty of the mountains for a weekend designed to nourish your creativity, body, mind, and spirit. Society of Wildflowers presents Camp Wildflower, a safe and intimate gathering for wild women who crave meaningful connection, creative renewal, and gentle healing.

Gracing us with her glue gun and paint brushes in hand, Jennifer Perkins, the Queen of Kitsch who loves “gluing stuff to stuff”, will rejoin us for this year’s event with three brand new creative workshops. When it comes to creative accolades, this crafty lady has a LIST! Jennifer is a lifestyle writer for many different websites including BlogHer, I Love to Create, The DIY Network, eHow and more. A self-proclaimed ADD crafter, Jennifer is a Jill of several different crafty trades. She started her creative career as a jewelry designer, growing her company Naughty Secretary Club into a blog, book and booming brand. Besides jewelry, Jennifer has dabbled in everything from embroidery to scrapbooking. Her current obsession is art journaling and mixed media art. Jennifer has never met a flea market or thrift store that she didn’t like. She has called Austin, TX, home for almost 20 years. Crafting and collecting for an eclectic home is every bit as rewarding for Jennifer as a fresh roll of washi tape or new box of markers. Her kitschy home includes items ranging from wood mounted pictures of Burt Reynolds on bear skin rugs to Jonathan Adler sofas.
Jennifer has hosted several programs for HGTV and DIY Network including Stylelicious and Craft Lab, and from 2012-2014 she was the Editor in Chief of Kids Crafts 1-2-3 Magazine. Her work has been featured in ad campaigns for Michaels, JoAnn’s and I Love to Create.
Jennifer’s weaknesses include stuffed avocados, throwing over the top Halloween parties & thrift stores.
