What. A. Weekend. We're all reflecting as we clean up this morning, and the theme is gratitude.
Where to begin?
To our musicians, holy cow, we have some fantastic musicians around here. Everyone sounded amazing! Thank you for donating your time and talents. We loved hearing you perform.
To our volunteers, the heart and soul of Street Fest. Thank you for helping us to set up last week, greeting attendees as they come in, taking care of all of our musicians and volunteers in hospitality, for helping at our merchandise booth or in our beer gardens, for helping to transport musicians and attendees around the festival, for delivering ice, for picking up trash and packing things up this morning. We literally couldn't do this without you.
To our vendors, just wow. First of all, let's talk food. I don't think anyone left Street Fest hungry. So many different choices, there was something for everyone, and everything was delicious.
And to our retail vendors, your wares made our street so colorful. So many interesting and unique products- art, collectables, plants, crafts, home goods. Thank you.
To our Peace Patrol- You guys rock! Thank you for keeping things in control and peaceful. We love the energy you bring to Street Fest.
To our UCAT shuttle drivers, thank you for making the rounds to bring people to and from festival safely.
Thank you to all of the property owners who let us use your space as satellite parking.
To our Police, EMS, and Fire Department, thank you for making sure everyone and everything was secure, so we could all get home safely.
And finally, to everyone who came out this weekend. Thank you. Thank you for donating at the gates, thank you for buying our Street Fest merch, thank you for shopping from our vendors, thank you for supporting our musicians. Thank you for being such an amazing community.
We love Street Fest, and each and every one of you made it possible.
Thank you all for coming out and supporting our festival, and we can't wait to do it again next year.
