Pictures, pictures...we talk about pictures a lot! So here is how we determine what we use.
This is a gorgeous shot of a beautiful car you will see at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in November. THIS is a great example of what we need.
We are well into working on a wide variety of promotional pieces for the upcoming MCACN show. Postcards, print and online ads, facebook, instagram and other social media outlets, posters, magnets and more. We are also working on our new 92 page magazine and thinking about our big digital billboards and our upcoming brand spankin' new from the ground up website.
We have literally hundreds of beautiful automobiles that join us from across the country and even outside of our country, yet we always have a huge shortage of good, usable photos. If you have officially entered and have been accepted, please send as many good, clear shots as you can as we can never have too many! Please send to [email protected].
A few tips; (PLEASE read this part!). No light-poles or trees behind the car; close ALL the body panels, including the hood, No people, unless you are an exceptionally good looking lady and generally speaking, (sunsets/sunrises excepted, as seen here) shoot with the sun behind you. You don't need a professional camera, as your phone is able to shoot decent pictures suitable for our purposes in most cases.
We are constantly asked why someones car is not used and the answer is simple; subpar pictures. Follow these simple steps and chances are you will see your car immortalized in print, online or maybe even on one of our many huge billboards!
