YOU DID IT!! Haunt on Strawberry Hill delivered to Center of Hope ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED pounds (1,500) of non-perishable food along with a check for $1,860.

Haunt On Strawberry Hill needs your help to deliver 750 pounds of nonperishable food to The Center of Hope next Wednesday, November 1.
In the 7 years of collect food the need to help our neighbors has never been greater.
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer earlier this year and thanks to some amazing neighbors who come through with a fun yard display I’m certain the Rootstown community’s generosity will shine.
Here’s how you can help:
** All non perishables can be left in the baskets at the end of the driveway any time.

Sadly there will not be a Halloween display this year, 2023. In January I was diagnosed with two different types of cancer, both are unfortunately terminal. I am fighting these cancers right now and look forward to seeing all of the ghouls and goblins Halloween night when we will be handing out candy.
Donating nonperishable food to the Center of Hope has been a driving force behind each years display. While there will not be a display this year, we will happily except any donation you would like to make.
Thank you for the many years of making Halloween special for me and helping provide THOUSANDS OF POUNDS of food for those in need.

Time to share some October News…… The Haunt on Strawberry Hill has officially sent the pirates back to from which they came and they have taken all of their pirate building materials with them…

Fighting pirates and Stage IV Cancer at the same time is a battle the pirates knew wasn’t fair so we are announcing an OFFICIAL 🏳️🏳️🏳️ TRUCE for now.

Since I won’t have to defend Fort Corwin this Halloween, I might just take the Mrs. on our VERY FIRST vacation / Honeymoon, for our 10th wedd’n Anniversary that falls just about on Halloween.

I will STILL be asking for your kind food donations for the Center of Hope in Ravenna. Just because I’m too sick to eat, doesn’t mean there still won’t be more hungry mouths to feed than ever this year, so start buying that .99 macaroni and veggies whenever you see it on sale now & stock up for Oct. drop off.
