FUN OUTINGS STILL OPEN TODAY
Hearing of soccer games, car shows, etc., being cancelled today, want to highlight some highly worthwhile events that are STILL OPEN today:
* Capon Bridge Farmer's Market
* Celebrate Moorefield Farmers Market by Town of Moorefield
* Pappy's Palooza for Parkinson's (includes farmers' market!)
* Hampshire Highlands Arts & Music Festival (because artists are vital "local producers", too!)
If you time/route your driving just right, you might be able to sample all of these. We hope you'll try at least some/one! If you can't get around *today*, remember you can also catch some of the same vendors at 2023 Romney Farmers' Market on Thursdays, Happy Farmers Market on Tuesdays or Fridays, and, re-starting 30 September, at https://seedsofgraceacres.com/farmersmarket .
Why give your time/money to Netflix and Walmart, outside corporations who don't care about you as an individual, when you could make friends with fellow locals who are "in the trenches" alongside you during local power-outages, local Christmas parties, local road-construction, local football games won and lost, local storms/floods, etc., who'll sincerely appreciate *you* ? But maybe you're shy, and the anonymity of self-checkout feels safer to you, or you have limited mobility and walking around a market sounds like it'll hurt your knees. Remember at Romney Farmers Market , you can call/message ahead to have your order pre-bagged or, because of our handy location, we can serve your drive-through! Some other markets might offer this, too.
