After over almost 5 years off, HATCHETMEN are back! 6:00 Doors, 7:00 Show wsg Dirty Mike and the Boys & Casual Tuesday. NO COVER! Cash bar! At Romeo's Masonic Temple, 321 Main Street (Van D**e), Romeo (just N of 32 Mile Road).

Open Mic Night will be at the Gazebo in the Romeo Village Park June (28th), July (26th), August (23rd), September (27th), weather permitting of course. If the weather doesn't cooperate we'll be in the upstairs gallery at Starkweather like usual. Bring a lawn chair. Always fun to play outdoors. We'll start at 7 PM like usual. Hopefully we'll see you there.

All, Sorry, but due to the severe weather, Open Mic Night for tonight, June 25th, has been cancelled. Hopefully we'll have better luck next month.

Notice to all:

No Open Mic Night for November and December 2020.

Sorry to say, but given that no one showed up for October's Open Mic, and the facts that November's 4th Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and December's 4th Friday is Christmas Day, we are cancelling November's & December's Open Mic Nights. Not an easy decision, but one we felt was the best given our current situation. Hopefully we can all use the time to be with those closest to us and enjoy the holidays. Thanks to everyone's support and participation in our Open Mic Nights, Happy Holidays, and see you all next year.

For September (25th) we plan to have Open Mic Night at the Gazebo in the Village Park behind (west of) Starkweather, weather permitting. If the weather does not permit, we will postpone to the next month's Open Mic Night. Please bring chairs.
Performers sign up and the MC works down through the signup list in order. Each performer has the stage for two songs, two poems, two short stories, whatever the performer wants to perform that is appropriate for an all-ages audience. PA equipment and some instrument amplification available. The MC reserves the right to allow 3 songs per performer or limit it to one song per performer depending on the number of performers signed up.

Reminder everyone: Open Mic this Friday, August 28th, at the Gazebo in the Romeo Village Park (weather permitting). See you all there then. Rain date is September 25th.

Last Friday's July Open Mic Night was a great evening of music and friends. Pretty much perfect weather for an evening in the park. The following people performed: Dave Parks (doing MC duties as always); Silvia; Tom Petipren; J R & Duane; Larry Maykowski; Tim, Irv & John; Dave Pyrce; Patti Ruby Purple; Dave with the blue guitar; Larry Everhart w/ John Dobat & Larry Stevens. Thanks to Kim and Adam for all the help setting up and tearing down. Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to all who performed. Next one will be August 28th, also in the park. Hopefully we'll all see each other there then. Be well and stay safe.
