Hello all Music Together Families! When Covid started happening in this country it was supposed to be a 2 week break, then a 4 week break, then 2 months, then to the end of the school year and then even beyond that. The governor left me in an unknown situation and every week I was hoping to get the green light to teach our classes. My studio, meanwhile charging rent, was empty for 4 months, my insurance also not giving me any breaks. Believe me, a hard time and most of all, I still miss all of you and your beautiful babies and toddlers. At this time, still not knowing what I am allowed or not allowed to do with our class without getting fined up to $2000 I decided to not continue any classes until further notice.
It is with a heavy heart after running consecutive classes for 11 years to make that decision. I don't believe that the online version, suggested from our "mothership" in New Jersey, can be as powerful as our hands on classes with active movement, feeling each others rythms on a gathering floor drum or playing with all my instruments I had for our curriculum. After all it is called Music Together, a hands on experience.
We are all at a loss, Music Together LLC wants you keep your books and CD's that are part of our 10 week curriculum. My policy states that any missed classes on my part will be made up and no refund after 1st class taken. However, I decided to offer the amount of $49 as a courtesy or, if you choose the alternative, a gift bag with instruments from our classroom. Please contact me individually, not on this post.
Stay happy and healthy, see you when this is over and we possibly we can start fresh with a new session.
