Footlights Of The Blue Ridge Hello music lovers, pickers, players, singers, dancers, toe tappers and Footlights fans. Welcome to our page. Six years later we're still rockin'!!

The show was born in 2005 in the Rocky Mount Train Depot, so my apologies for taking so long to create this page. The town of Rocky Mount was interested in becoming part of The Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail. I love music (but don't we all, it's just part of the human spirit...), and saw this as a way of being part of the community and having a good time in the process. I've met so many new fri

ends and musicians that I may never have known otherwise. Talk about great hobbies, boy I got this one right! Hopefully, we will also have a Footlights Of The Blue Ridge web page ready by the new year. Our winter schedule is almost complete, with a few remaining details (contract signings) to complete. We already have The James King Band, Jeanette and Johnny Williams, The Bluegrass Brothers and Junior Sisk and Rambler's Choice lined up. And ,hopefully, there will be 2 or 3 more musical goodies to complete the winter schedule. That's right, this is just the winter schedule. There's much more to come. Stay tuned. Footlights Of The Blue Ridge is proud to present Larry Sigmon & Martha Spencer on Saturday, Jan. 23, 7:30pm at the Harvester Performance Center in downtown Rocky Mount, Va. Come out and bring your dancing shoes and a bunch of friends and enjoy some good old time music. Larry Sigmon is back and in rare form. Thanks to the Bluegrass Brothers for rockin' the house at the Harvester Performance Center last Friday night. What a great live performance these guys put on every time they play.
Also a special thank you to the audience that enjoyed a special performance from Rex Stephenson as he presented his "Mark Twain" one man play on Saturday night. Footlights will present outdoor music this summer at the Rocky Mount Farmers' Market, dates to be announced soon. So please continue to follow us and support great music at Footlights Of The Blue Ridge and the Harvester Performance Center.

Music lovers, please come out this Friday night, May 29 and enjoy some great music from the Bluegrass Brothers at the Harvester Performance Center. What a great live show these guys put on. Also, on Saturday night, May 30 we will venture into a different form of theater with Rex Stephenson, retired director of the Blue Ridge Dinner Theater performing his 'Mark Twain' one man show. Please come out and enjoy all the entertainment and keep your eye on all the great events going on at the Harvester.

What a rare and amazing performance last Friday night at the Harvester Performance Center. The founding members of the Lost & Found, Roger Handy, Gene Parker and Allen Mills brought to the stage just what the sell out crowd was there for, a truly professional and memorable performance!!! Thank you.. And, what a warm up from Jensen & the Hassell's with Morgan Prillaman, Travis Prillaman, Caleb Fuller and James Taylor. Young, beautiful and talented!!
