On Friday, May 1, Northeast Christians At Work (a regional workplace ministry led by long-time coffeehouse director Drew Crandall) is participating in the 2nd annual Global Day of Faith at Work. Over 100 global partners in workplace ministry are part of this movement to worship the Lord through our everyday work lives.

At 11 am EDST, Drew will be facilitating an hour-long, Zoom-style Global Day of Faith at Work prayer gathering from his office in Vernon, Connecticut. For details and to participate, please visit www.GlobalFaithWork.org .

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

Jacob's Well may no longer operate, but mark your calendars for the second live outdoor concert at the WIHS 104.9 FM Amphitheater on Saturday, July 25 (rain date Sunday, July 26) from 5-7 pm. We will feature "Saints & Patriots," a mix of Christian speakers and artists to celebrate America's 250th and the awesome Christian legacy we have here in Connecticut.

The final leg of the 30-year journey of Jacob's Well ended today in a beautiful fashion. A happy ending, indeed! Walter Santos, Dave Pettigrew, Arno Groot and the new WIHS In His Service praise band drilled it! And at least one soul was saved during the final Jacob's Well gospel message and invitation. Praise God!

Many are sad to see Jacob's Well go, but are eager to see what the Lord does with the WIHS Amphitheater in the days, months and years ahead. Today's "test of concept" was excellent! Thanks to all involved, and especially our Creator!

We were setting up the grass parking lots today for tomorrow's Grand Finale at WIHS, and the weather was spectacular. So was the setting. This is a gorgeous place for an amphitheater, and to host an outdoor concert. Mid-80s, partly sunny with a nice 9 mph breeze.

Please join us! The event begins promptly at 1 pm, so it's best to try to get there around 12 noon to give you some margin for traffic etc. Parking and admission are free.

The weather forecast is looking good this Saturday, for the Grand Finale of Jacob's Well at the WIHS Amphitheater, 1933 South Main Street in Middletown, CT. The event starts at 1 pm and ends at 4 pm featuring Walter Santos, David Pettigrew, In His Service (a new praise band) and Arno Groot. The Gospel will be declared, too!
