Our friend and familiar face here at Billie Creek, Jose Gonzalez, is taking on quite the challenge!

On September 11, 2026, Jose will be completing his annual marathon walk to raise money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

At 68 years old, Jose is a retired, disabled Army veteran who continues to dedicate himself to supporting veterans, first responders, and honoring those who have sacrificed for others.

This year, he’ll be walking 27 miles from Bridgeton to Rosedale, Rockville, and back to Bridgeton to help raise funds for this important cause. If you’d like to support Jose and his efforts, donations can be sent directly to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

We’re proud to know Jose and wish him the best on his walk! Your support is greatly appreciated.

Seven Years’ War at Billie Creek Village ⚔️📸

Here are some of my favorite photos I captured this weekend during the Seven Years’ War reenactment at Billie Creek Village!

From the period clothing and camps to the musket fire and battle demonstrations, there were so many great moments to photograph. The reenactors did an incredible job bringing history to life, and it definitely made for a fun day behind the camera.
