Williams Tree Farm

Williams Tree Farm Creating Holiday Memories for 80 Years and Hosting Weddings & Events for over 40 years! Williams Tree Farm has been family owned and operated for over 70 years.
(1279)

The farm was purchased in the 1940’s by Carlton and Amelia Williams and their son Wayne. Originally a dairy and hog farm, timbers were harvested from the farm and saw for what was known as The Wagon Wheel, a historic resort located in Rockton,IL. To replace those trees and for good stewardship of the land, the trees that we harvested where replaced with seedlings. When a winter storm occurred and

Christmas trees where in short supply, some of those seedlings were harvested to meet that demand. Thus a new business was born. Christmas tree production was the focus for decades, with the farm shipping trees to local areas as well as sites in the suburbs of Chicago, but as the families began to look for experience based purchases, Williams Tree Farm led the industry in becoming a choose and cut farm. Now more then ever, making memories is what we are all about.

We love celebrating stories built slowly, through faith, perseverance, and people investing in something bigger than themselves.

Today and tomorrow, we’re celebrating one of our own. ♥️

Congratulations to Park City Church on 5 years of ministry and to Cory on this milestone. What began as a vision has grown into a community where people gather, worship, serve, and find belonging.

We are proud of Cory, thankful to have played a small role in the journey, and grateful for all God has done.

Happy Anniversary, Park City Church. The story is still being written. 🤍

Because it rained!!! 🌧️🙌

Lord, we thank You for sunshine…and today, we thank You for rain.

The trees needed it. The crops needed it. The farmers needed it.

Today, rain on the farm feels like a blessing. 🤍🌲

All because two people fell in love.♥️

That’s what I keep coming back to. Before there was a tree farm, before the weddings, before the Christmas crowds, before families made memories here… there was Carlton and Amelia.

A preacher and a teacher who met, fell in love, got married, raised a family, and eventually made their way to this farm in 1940. I keep thinking about how they probably had no idea what this place would become. They were just trying to build a life, work the land, raise their kids, make ends meet, and stay faithful with what was in front of them.

And somehow, all these years later, we’re still here.
Still walking the same ground, still gathering families, still watching children run through the trees, still seeing love stories begin here too.

It’s wild to think that so much of what we know and love about this place started with two people choosing each other and building a life together.

All because two people fell in love. ♥️

Indoor ceremonies at The Lodge have a beauty all their own. Warm lights, wood beams, family and friends gathered close, and a space dressed up for such a sweet ceremony. Simple, warm, and full of love just the way it should feel. 🤍

Wondering if The Lodge could be the right fit for your day? Reach out to Ellie Williams, we’d be happy to chat and show you around. 🤍

Sometimes a couple walks into the lodge and can picture it right away. Not just the wedding day, but the feeling of it. Their people gathered close, friends laughing under the lights, and quiet moments tucked into a place with history and heart. ♥️

A day that feels warm, personal, and true to who they are. Not because this place is meant to be everything to everyone, but because for some, it feels like home. ❤️

And maybe, when you walk in, you’ll feel it too.

Dogs have always been part of the heart of the farm.
Through the years, they’ve been greeters, comforters, and faithful friends. They’ve walked these paths, welcomed families, and somehow always known who needed a little extra love. 🐾♥️

We’ve have and had beautiful Goldens, big gentle Bernese Mountain Dogs, and now a Leonberger who is learning the farm too, how to welcome people, roam the fields, and make families feel at home. Our dogs are woven into this place. Into the memories and into the story.

They leave pawprints all over our hearts, and we just can’t imagine the farm without them. 🤍🐾🌲
