The Theme for the contest was “Angels Among Us”
My window was a throwback to the 60s with vintage Shiny Brite ornaments and boxes, blow molds, Raggy Ann and Andy dolls, and vintage Childrens Christmas Boots. White packages with colorful bows addressed to Essential Workers, Heath Care Professionals, Educators, Small Business Owners, City of ROckmart, etc and a Sign that read “Angel Shoes are Impossible to Fill”

I love my little Mayberry Town. If you’re in the area be sure to check out the light displays and also visit the Nettles Christmas Light display. He’s been displaying for probably 30-35 years.

Sadly all events conducted on public property were cancelled due to Covid19. However, please plan a day trip to our beautiful downtown tomorrow. We have 6 vintage antique shops, several gift shops and boutiques in town. Most of them are located in the historic downtown district.
Come shop, eat, and walk along the creek or ride the Comet Trail.

Dear Fellow Antique Lovers & Vendors,

It is with great regret to inform you that due to the up tick in Covid19 cases in our area this past week, we were advised to cancel the fall antique festival. As much as it pains us, we feel that the safest and most logical thing to do under the circumstances of rising Covid 19 numbers within our local school systems is to cancel this year’s fall festival.

We do plan on resuming our Spring Festival in March 20, 2021. Please let me know if you would be interested in that event and I will move your application to that event.

We had planned on using your event fees for entertainment. I have not cashed any of your checks. I will mark them null and void. I can send you a photo copy, if you need it.

Stay safe, keep on junking and let’s pray we can resume a somewhat normal life in the near future.
