July 4th Fireworks will be held at Dusk!

A quote from Mike Bollig:

“People always ask me why do I do Fireworks. I’m less than a football field away from the guns firing. I can feel every explosion. The whole sky is lit up. Where else can you go and light off about six grand worth of fireworks in 2 days and doesn’t cost you a dime. Priceless. “

The Cannon Valley Fair and PC Pyrotechnics will be thinking of Mike Bollig and his family as we celebrate the way he would want us to.

We’re happy to announce the first segment of the Cannon Falls 4th of July firework display is to celebrate the memory of Mike Bollig, he was part of our pyro family, crew/shooter for PC, Northern Lighter Pyrotechnics member, and longtime resident of Cannon Falls.

PC is honored to donate this first segment. In pyro tradition, the way we know how, celebrating the life of Mike with fireworks. Mike, we miss you, the help, the random boxes of strapping tape…

I found this Mike quote this morning on talking about a fireworks event on Facebook, made me smile. “People always ask me why do I do fireworks. The fireworks community lost a great guy this week. Mike Bollig was a good friend, helped at the Cannon Falls Firework events when he was available, and sent surprise packages of tape to our door. We will miss him. We pray for peace to his family and that good memories can uplift you at this time of grief.
