People keep debating who the single 'King of R&B' is, but why limit it to just one person? History never worked like that—world history was built by multiple kings ruling different lands and eras simultaneously, and music is no different. R&B is a massive empire with far too many sounds, eras, and subgenres—from classic 90s soul to modern trap R&B—to fit under a single crown, so there is plenty of room on the throne for royalty across every generation.
