I voted last week and was a bit surprised at a few things on the ballot, so wanted to share...

First, there are things about taxation that everyone should take a look at and cast a vote.

The ones that caught my eye were:

"Parents are to be the primary decision makers for their kids"
I thought this would be the way it has been forever, but apparently not. We need a Texas Constitutional amendment to make it that way. YOU NEED TO VOTE ON THIS ONE!

"You must be a U.S. Citizen to vote"
Again, I would think this is common sense, but not so!
YOU NEED TO VOTE ON THIS ONE TOO!

If you usually ignore the local voting topics and just look at the big national ones, this time you would be making a big mistake. You need to look at this and seriously consider voting.

I usually don't do a lot of politics on the website, but these two alone made me want to share. I hope you take action so commonsense can be made into law.
