Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day!
Today, we honor the history, strength, and beautiful culture of our Native American communities. As we get closer to race day, we are reminded of how deeply our event is connected to this special day.
Our trail run in Rock Point, AZ was created in loving memory of Craig D. Begay. Proceeds go directly to helping Native American families who are going through serious medical crises.
Many families live on rural reservations and have to travel long distances for hospital care. Your kindness helps cover their basic needs—like gas, meals, and a place to stay—so they can focus entirely on being there for their loved ones. 🙏🏼❤️
We run to honor the traditions of the past, and we run to help our community today. Let’s keep moving forward together! 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️
⚡ Be a blessing and join us! Register for the 8th Annual Run Craig Run on November 14, 2026 (Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K Trail Run).

We are pleased to share the powerful story behind the donations from the 7th Annual RCR Run. The proceeds benefited Rhyker, a vibrant 9-year-old warrior who will turn 10 on December 2nd. This commitment to community support exemplifies the mission of Run Craig Run (RCR).

Rhyker was first diagnosed with Leukemia just before his second birthday in November 2017. He relapsed in September 2021, leading the family to Denver for a bone marrow transplant and Car T-cell therapy. The cancer returned for a second time in November 2025, necessitating another move to Denver for rigorous treatment.

Despite these immense challenges, Rhyker remains resilient and strong in his faith. As his mom shares: "He’s the definition of a Warrior!! There’s No Quit in him!!"

Thank you to everyone who participated in the RCR run. Your support has been a blessing to Rhyker and his family as they face this battle again. Please continue to keep Rhyker, his mother, and his big brother in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️⚡️🙏🏼
