🎓GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT🎓

Congratulations Alonzo!

Zo had been with Barefoot since he was 11 years old and describes it as his “second family.” Alonzo will be continuing his education at Missouri Science and Technology. He plans to be a student manager for their soccer team in the fall and plans to tryout for the team in the spring!

“I have developed as a person and a player. I’ve grown to love the game of futsal and become closer with Colombian culture while also improving my skills for playing soccer.”

His advice to you get players:

“Strive to be a team player. Also, I believe that you should follow your dreams, and if you work hard and dedicate time to those dreams/goals, you can achieve anything!”

Final member of our coaching staff, Bailey Rogers.

Coach Bailey has over 8 years of experience playing Futsal and more than 5 years coaching the sport, specializing in developing both field players and goalkeepers. He currently serve as a USYF Apprentice Goalkeeper Coach, where he works to train and mentor goalkeepers at a high level. He was honored to be selected as the USYF U19 Alternate Goalkeeper, a role that reflects his dedication and skill in the game. Bailey's background combines a player’s insight with a coach’s perspective, allowing him to approach Futsal with both passion and precision.

Next member of our coaching staff, Roman Edmond.

Coach Ro has played futsal consistently for 12 years including coaching for 2 years. He has played soccer since the age of 3, growing up in a dominant soccer family. He capped off a successful high school soccer career with back to back State Championships and All-Conference and All-State selections.

Roman has had the opportunity to travel to multiple different countries in order to experience different futsal cultures and levels of play. He has also had the privilege to represent the USA as a part of the US Youth Futsal International Team on three separate trips abroad to Toronto, Lisbon, and Paris. The opportunity to experience futsal in different countries at a very competitive level has given him the chance to learn and grow extraordinarily.

Coach Lo is a skilled and passionate soccer and futsal coach from Charlotte, NC. With 18 years of soccer and 13 years of futsal experience, she brings a deep understanding of the game to her role at Superb Futbol Club and as part of the US Youth Futsal National Team Staff.

Having played collegiately at Concordia University of Nebraska and club at UNC Charlotte, Lauren combines technical expertise, creativity, and a player-first approach to coaching. Her work across top youth programs reflects a commitment to developing confident, resilient, and well-rounded athletes.
