Mi. State Fair Homebrew comp '26

It was another successful homebrew comp for PBT this year!
Four 1st place medals
Two 2nd place medals
Four 3rd place medals
PBT swepted the Porter/Stout category.
Not scared of the dark...

PBT finished 2nd overall for points in the Heavy Medal competition.
Congrats to Keepers of the Craft hbc for winning 1st place with the most overall points again this year!

Big thanks to Blair & Grant Bowman for organizing and hosting this awsome event again this year!
Be sure to volunteer in '27 to keep events like this alive!

What a great weekend it was at MHF!

PBT celebrated our 30th anniversary with all the hbc's from all over Michigan!
Pamela turned 21 this year with a toast and Birthday cake on Sat!

Usual Suspects & PBT created the Farfrumpuken Biergarten with assorted hbc's b**rs on tap all weekend!
Big success!
It'll be back in '27!

A packed house enjoying these fantastic homebrews this afternoon!

Big Brew Review '26

PBT held its 15th annual homebrew competition at Cadillac Straits Brewery!
Thank you to Gary and Gordie for supporting homebrewers & hbc's in Michigan all these years!
Much appreciated!
And Stec for being a great host Saturday!
We'll all miss the brewery and supply house for sure!

There final day will be Saturday July 18th!
Be sure to stop by as they have some awsome b**rs saved for the party!

PBT weekend,

We had two awsome brew days Sat & Sun!

Saturday we brewed with the Usual Suspects hbc at their annual brew for a cause charity event!
Thanks to Keith and Amy for hosting all of us for this worthy cause! It was another great brew day!

Sunday we brewed at Urbanrest's Sma$h b**r competition.
Another great brew day with some of Michigan's best homebrewers!
Stop back July 26th Noon-4pm for the Sma$h b**r comp.
The winning b**r will be brewed on Urbanrest's system!

PBT's next event is our Big Brew Review July 11th 2-6pm at Cadillac Straits Brewery!
This is a free event 21& over...
B**rs from our Big Brew Day (May 16th) will be judged for Brewers Choice and Peoples choice 1-3rd with great prizes for the winners!
Stop by to judge the homebrews and support our local brewery and supply house!

Thanks to Nick & Becky for hosting PBT's "Brew for the Cup" day Saturday!
It was a beautiful day for homebrewing!

Members brewed b**rs for the Michigan B**r Cup & Michigan State Fair Homebrew competitions.
Good luck to all!

Next Saturday June 6th we're splitting up our brewers for 2 different days.

We'll be at UrbanRest Brewery for their sma$h b**r competition and the Usual Suspects annual brew a thon at Keith Manchesters house!

"Mi largest ALL GRAIN homebrew day"!
What a great homebrew day!

15 year totals:
Batches: 1116
Gallons: 903
8gal avg batch size...
Avg 74 brewers per year...

All brewers showed up despite a bit of rain in the am.
It's always great to brew & catch up with everyone!

Homebrewers won over $4000 worth of homebrew related prizes from our generous sponsors during the raffle. Congrats!
