We are a small microwinery located just minutes from Springfield, Illinois. We offer many sweet and dry wines produced and bottled on site, a full bar with over 50 select bourbons, games, and a wine garden with a full bocce ball court. We will continue to sell our wines and host private events through the end of the year. The winery will also be open to the public during the days of play for the fall bocce ball league. These times being open will be from 6 to 10 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays for the next 8 weeks ending on October 12th. We will not be open tonight for bocce ball play due to the extreme heat. We do plan on being open 6 to 10 pm tomorrow on Thursday & for the next 7 weeks until October 12th.

📣📣We will open at 6 pm Wednesday and Thursday this week! 📣📣

We also just bottled our last batches of Just Peachy Chardonnay and Applicious Green Apple Riesling. They are perfect to chill and sip in this summer heat!

Check out our June events! This is our last month in full operation. Our kitchen is now closed, so bring your picnic! **NOTE: We will be closed Saturday, June 3 for a private event!!**

After June 24, we will continue to produce our wines, but our doors will not be open regularly. We will be available for private events and host some select events through the end of the year. Stay tuned for updates and contact us to host your next party!

Our Story

The Walnut Street Winery produces & bottles many different wines at their location in Rochester, IL. The Winery has a lovely wine garden with a stage for live music that performs there. There is a bocce ball court in the wine garden where the Winery has bocce ball leagues. When you come to the Winery you can visit our Video Game Room, The Money Room, & try your luck on one of our Video Games. You may taste one or our locally made wines or have a cocktail with liquor, or a craft beer. We serve some great cheese products made in Illinois along with salami. We’ve got something for everyone!
