This Thursday is the FINAL Thursdays Downtown of the season! August 14 is National Navajo Code Talker Day. This day celebrates Navajo veterans who were recruited by the Marines to create an unbreakable code using Navajo language that helped win WWII. Join us in honoring the legacy with added activities, drum songs, presentation of colors and tributes at this week’s Thursdays street festival.

When: August 14 from 1:30-2:30pm
Where: Altra Federal Credit Union Stage on 1st Ave SW (kids activities offered at Mayo Clinic Family Nook on 2nd Ave SW Discovery Walk)
