The Great Backpack Clean‑Out of 2026 has begun.

You know the drill: your kid unzips their bag and suddenly you’re buried under 17 paintings, 42 worksheets, a paper-plate turtle, and something… glittery that may or may not still be alive.

Before any of it “mysteriously disappears” into the recycling bin, save a few gems for a Department 11 Youth Exhibit entry at the 2026 Big K**b Grange Fair!

Let’s celebrate the sweet (and savory) things made from scratch—and start getting ready for the Big K**b Grange Fair!

If you love baking, cooking, and showcasing homegrown kitchen skills, consider entering Department 15: Home and Dairy Products.

It’s a great way to share your talents, support our fair traditions, and inspire the next batch of bakers.

Need an idea for what to enter?
• Homemade breads (yeast, quick breads, rolls)
• Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and pies
• Jams, jellies, and canned goods
• Family recipe “favorites” you’re proud of
