You might’ve spotted some new signs at the festival this past Saturday—or maybe you noticed the stage The Outlaw GANG Band performed on!

That entire stage was built from pine we cut on our own sawmill. Many of you have already seen clips of us milling lumber right here on this page.

Now we’re excited to share that our sawmill is officially going public as Lower Alabama Sawmill Co. !

We’d love for you to follow and share our new page to help us spread the word about what we do! Maybe we will even have some additions next year to the syrup barn with lumber we mill. You will have to follow our sawmill page to find out!

We had an incredible day this past Saturday and appreciated all the visitors that stopped by to say hello! Here is a little peak into what you missed!

We stayed incredibly busy and learned what an overwhelming amount of support there still is for storied traditions like ours.

If I can’t say anything else, I can say that next year we will have quite a bit more syrup prepared for all our guests! Thank you for being patient with us, we will be expanding our production capacity in the next year to make sure everyone can go home with some!

Many thanks to our craft and food vendors, and to our phenomenal bluegrass band The Outlaw GANG Band for making the day something to remember!

Tomorrow is almost here! We’ve been hard at work preparing everything for all of our guests who plan to join us! Stop by, sample some syrup, support our vendors and bluegrass band, and enjoy the fall weather!

Don’t forget the food trucks will be here from 10-2

Parking is easiest if everyone pulls off the road and parks perpendicular to the road (don’t parallel park). We have two parking lots set up that are labeled, they are in the grass so feel free to drive around and park there!

We’ve got some exciting news for this year’s syrup festival!

The Outlaw GANG Band will be picking and playing bluegrass/ gospel with us from 11–2. It’s going to be a great time to sit back, relax, and enjoy some good music while the cane’s grinding and the syrup’s cooking!

Out in the patch Friday night, the sun set over our sugar cane with a golden glow. You’ll notice a few weeds mixed in—and that’s just fine.

We don’t use herbicides or insecticides in the patch When we say nothing is added, we mean nothing. Just pure cane, grown the way it’s always been.
