❤️🙏 Sending Love & Prayers from YaYa’s River Retreat! 🙏❤️

First and foremost, we want to ask everyone to please keep our neighboring communities who were affected by the storm in your thoughts and prayers as they begin cleaning up and recovering. ❤️

We were extremely fortunate here at YaYa’s River Retreat! We made it through with just a few trees down, and thankfully, we didn't even flood! We know many of our neighbors weren't quite as lucky, and our hearts go out to everyone dealing with damage. ❤️

🌳🪵 NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS! 🪵🌳

If you're in our surrounding community and have trees or limbs down from the storm and need somewhere to haul your wood debris, give YaYa a call at 📞 251-210-2023!

With fall here and bonfire season getting started, we can put that wood to good use and get it burned up over time! 🔥

📍 In the attached picture, you'll see an area marked in RED. That's where pile the bonfire wood and have our bonfires.

We just ask that you please cut the trees and limbs into somewhat manageable pieces before bringing them out. And please call or text first so we can coordinate! We also have our tractor with brush forks to help unload.

🪚 A LITTLE CLEANUP HELP NEXT WEEKEND! 🪚

Weather permitting, we're planning a cleanup day next weekend to cut up the few trees we lost here at YaYa's and get everything moved around. If we've got a couple of friends or neighbors who wouldn't mind pitching in and lending a hand, we sure would appreciate it!

And please know, if anybody in our community needs anything, don't hesitate to reach out! Give us a call, send a text, or shoot us a message. We may not be able to do everything, but we'll sure help where we can!

As for today, it looks like it's going to turn into a beautiful day after all!

Unfortunately, YaYa is under the weather and feeling pretty rough, and Papa J is probably going to be piled up somewhere watching football! So we're taking it a little easy today.

Everyone stay safe with the coming hurricane. We have YaYa's battened down to the best of our abilities. We will stay closed this weekend as more than likely we'll flood.

Happy Monday, so far we have faired pretty good with all the rain. Styx is up but YaYa's is not flooded. We are still open for your outdoor and camping enjoyment, I'd say no swimming for a few days though.

☀️🏈 HAPPY SATURDAY FROM YAYA’S RIVER RETREAT! 🏈☀️

As we roll into the fall season, our swimming days may be starting to slow down, but the sandbar is PERFECT right now! 🏖️🌊

First, we want to wish all of our little river babies who are out at football games, cheer, and all their other activities today the BEST OF LUCK! 💙 Go out there and do awesome!

For everybody who doesn’t have games or activities today… COME ON OUT TO THE RIVER!

📺🏈 Papa J will be down with the TV playing some football games, while YaYa & Jelly are busy getting everything mowed up and looking good again now that the rain has FINALLY stopped long enough for us to get some work done! 😂🐾

Y'alls favorite furry friend Jelly is on one today. Everyone knows his little personality is extra sometimes. He followed YaYa out to put stuff in truck for them to leave later, but refuses to come in. He's been out there 10 minutes now refusing to come in. He like "I ain't going in Jelly Jail ( his kennel) I'm just gonna wait right here." 🤣🤣🤣 Y'all this furry little boy is ridiculous sometimes.
