BioHack

BioHack BioHack 2021 returns May 15-16, 2021!πŸ§‘β€πŸ’»πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬ We also encourage everyone to foster strong, professional relationships with industrial and academic sponsors.

A hackathon is an multi-day event where students practice and develop their computer programming skills to create ideas and projects. This year UCR's Biomedical Engineering Society introduces BioHack, the very first student-run 24 hour bioengineering-themed hackathon at the University of California, Riverside. Throughout this 24-hour hackathon, students will form teams to work on projects, attend technical workshops, speak to mentors, learn about new technologies, and network with industries. Our mission is to encourage new hackers to collaborate with students and sponsors throughout computer science and bioengineering. We encourage all students of any race and/or ethnicity, gender, and orientation, as well as any field of study, engineering or non-engineering, to participate in our inclusive event, to learn and develop valuable technical and teamwork skills in a safe and intellectual environment. And by hosting BioHack within the Inland Empire, our goal is to have sponsors and students spawn connections with engineers throughout the bioengineering and computer science community across California.
