We’re in This Together

We don’t see a divide between liberals and conservatives, black people, brown people and white people, rich people and poor people, educated people and lesser educated people, LGBTQ+ and straight people, citizens of the United States and non-citizens, disenfranchised people and privileged people. The division we see is between the people who like the world divided and the rest of us. We see it everywhere we go. We see it in our schools where they teach us to think the same, because they are threatened by what makes us unique. We see it in our streets, where they give guns to disenfranchised people, so we’re too busy fighting each other to fight real injustice. We see it in our workplaces where people work for a fraction of their boss’s salary, even though their position is indispensable. The world’s problem isn’t the outraged lower-class or the comfortable upper-class. The world’s problem is the corrupt among us feeding on the world’s death, but we’ve got a message for them. A message from everyone keeping the world alive. A message from everyone that believes in this world to everyone who doesn’t. You’re outnumbered!
