Jeni’s world gets turned upside down when her estranged mother, Diana, comes back into her life. Trying to reconcile herself with lost time and to seek artistic freedom, Jeni leaves Tia Celia heartbroken and with an empty home. At the same time, Maria Jose finds herself out of her comfort zone when sneaking into a gay bar, el Noa Noa, after an argument with her boyfriend of four years, Andres. Here, Jeni and Maria Jose meet for the first time and embark on a challenging relationship as they both face hardships that keep them from developing their new feelings for one another. It should be noted that the songs used have a few changes in the lyrics for the purposes of this play.
