Congratulations to offensive left tackle and defensive lineman Sam Simpson , this weeks The Garage Bikes + Brews Gridiron Grinder of the Game. Sam helped his team to a huge 50-24 win in WIAA Level 2 playoff football over #4 seed, La Crosse Central. Sam continues to blow huge holes on offense, running guys down on defense (4 tackles), and also recorded his first interception on a spectacular heads up hustle play. Senior, Sam Simpson, will be taking his talents and classroom discipline (Acedemic All State) to #2 ranked Indiana University to play football. Sam will be graduating RFHS in December, allowing him to start his college career next January. Congratulations Sam! Thank you again to The Garage Bikes and Brews for sponsoring this coveted award!

Congratulations to Joseph Tarasewicz, this weeks The Garage Bikes + Brews Gridiron Grinder of the Game. Joseph helped his team to a 48-21 win over Beaver Dam in the WIAA level 1 State playoffs with 167 rushing yards on 34 carries and 6 touchdowns. Joseph also broke the all time school record for touchdowns in a single season which was 24 (held by Jonah Severson). With the 6, Joseph now has 27 touchdowns this year. Congratulations to the Wildcat Football Team on their Big Rivers Conference Championship and defeating the Wausau West Warriors by a final score of 56-19 on Friday night. Also a big congratulations to Todd Benedict and Tino Massa, this weeks The Garage Bikes + Brews Gridiron Grinders of the Game. These two are putting up video game numbers... Todd was dominant on both sides of the ball again with 10 receptions for 154 yards, 4 Touchdown catches, 1 interception, and 4 tackles. Tino has been on target all season and was great again on Friday night as well, going 26 for 30 through the air for 282 yards and 6 Touchdown throws. Tino's completion rate is over 70% on the season.
