CONGRATULATIONS to the 2026 World Hoop Dance Champion, Josiah Enriquez!
Director and Coordinator of the Regional Hoop Dance Championship West Coast, Sage Romero served again as an official judge and was honored to have again taken part! Here is the list of the other winners from the 36th Annual World Hoop Dance Championship, held at the Heard Museum, Feb. 14-15, 2026!

Adult Division
1st Place- Josiah Enriquez (Pueblo of Pojoaque/Navajo/Isleta)
2nd Place-Scott Sixkiller Sinquah (Gila River Pima)
3rd Place- Tony Duncan (Apache/Arikara/Hidatsa)

The event is taking place Feb. 14-15, 2026 at the world renowned Heard Museum, in Phoenix, AZ.

Thank you to all the joined is this weekend!
Many thanks to our talented Hoop Dancers, Drummers of Red Hoop, Judges Josette and Douglas Scholfield, staff, volunteers, sponsors and community members that joined the festivities and helped make it happeon here on the West Coast!
We are looking forward to the next one!
