🌸🌿 Polk County Fairgrounds Floriculture Update! 🌿🌸
We’re excited to offer a Junior Division youth gardening opportunity for local families!
🌼 FREE dahlia tubers & zinnia seeds are available for youth ages 5–17 participating in the Polk County Fair Junior Division.
🌼 Each participant may receive up to 3 labeled dahlia tubers
🌻 PLUS: Zinnia seed mix available while supplies last!
📣 New this year:
✨ Dahlia & zinnia-specific classes added
✨ Support from the Portland Dahlia Society Vice President on intake day for bloom classification (waterlily, cactus, pom, etc.)

⏰ Pickup Info:
📅 April 28 & May 1
🕓 4:00–7:00 PM
📍 Covered patio (north side of main building)
📌 Polk County Fairgrounds
🌿 Don’t wait—dahlias need to be planted ASAP!

Kids will receive a growing guide, plus a chance to fill out thank-you cards for our amazing donors 💌
