Thanks to a large donation contribution the Richwood Independent Ag Society was able to secure last week we are now seeking bids to construct a new Livestock Show Arena Pavilion this Summer to use for the 2026 Richwood Junior Fair.

Bids are due Tuesday, May 12 at 6pm.
Construction to be complete by July 30, 2026.
Bid to include just labor for the build and concrete.

Chloe Dickey, our Richwood Junior Fair Queen, was just named a top 5 contestant in the Ohio Fairs Queen Contest! Good luck to her as she continues to compete and the winner is announced Saturday morning. 👑

We’ve made it to the Ohio Fair Managers Association Convention in Columbus. We will be here till Sunday morning learning at seminars, visiting trade show vendors and attending mandatory meetings all in preparation of this years fair! 🎡

While we are down here, our Richwood Junior Fair Queen Chloe Dickey will be representing us and competing in the Ohio Fair’s Queens Contest. Good luck Chloe! 👑

Now that the dust has settled on the Night at the Races last night we’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support! We had an absolute blast raising vital funds for Harness Racing at the Richwood Fair. 🐎 We are thrilled to announce that we are off to a phenomenal start on our track lighting project after raising a staggering $12,716 at the event! This combined with the generous check from VFW Post 870 for $5,000 and VFW Post 870 Women’s Auxiliary for $500 we have now raised a remarkable $18,216 to kick-start the lights project this Spring. 💡

Special thanks to Chefs’ Parlour for a great meal, The Tipsy Chicks for their exceptional service, Keagan Nicol for running the auction and all of our dedicated volunteers who helped run the betting windows and the 50/50.

We’ll have 10 prerecorded horse races throughout the evening after a wonderful dinner from Chefs’ Parlour!
The announcer will know the winners (no spoilers!), but the rest of us will be cheering in suspense.

Horses for the first nine races will be sold for $20 each.
