Sharing some wonderful photos from our Hispanic Heritage Celebration earlier this month with Virginia Museum of History & Culture (VMHC)! 🥳

This was our largest event EVER! Spanning two days 900+ attendees came to shop with our incredibly talented vendors and enjoy musical performances by Bio Ritmo, Alex J Dimas, and José Oso Martinez.

Big thank you to our vendors and performers for navigating our first two-day event with us, as well as the staff Virginia Museum of History & Culture (VMHC) for reaching out to us and helping us make it happen (looking at you Anna!).

Thank you to everyone who joined us; we hope to see you at our upcoming events this fall!

RAFFLE TICKETS ON SALE - SWIPE TO SEE THE PRIZES! 🐵🎨

Raffle tickets are available NOW for purchase via Venmo (ArtesRVA Market, or use the QR at the end of this post), or you can buy them in person at el Mercadito at Shelf Life Books! Each entry is $5.50, and the winner gets to take home all the goodies featured in this slide show. Proceeds from the raffle help us fund upcoming events (to be announced soon 👀) as well as cover the cost of materials.
Helen and Gabby are two Guatemalans who run ArtesRVA as a labor of love and all costs are covered out of pocket as well as from vendor fees; this would be a massive help for us to make purchases like banners, posters, as well as cover the costs of paper and decorations. If you have ever attended and enjoyed an ArtesRVA event please consider supporting us by entering this raffle!

Winner will be drawn after el Mercadito on 6/26/26 at 8:00 PM. This raffle is only available to the Greater Richmond Area, as the winner will have to coordinate a pickup with us.

HUGE super ultra big thank you to everyone who donated items for this raffle! We are blown away by your support and generosity. 💖 Please consider following these fantastic creators!

ArtesRVA will be hosting a raffle during our Mercadito on 6/26 at Shelf Life! We are fundraising to host more fun events with more interactive elements such as face painting, food trucks, music, and more! We are a small team of just two Guatemalans, and while this has been a labor of love, everything has been out of pocket. We want to continue growing this project while maintaining our vision with keeping the vendor fee as accessible as possible!

We will accept art, services, and gift cards (if you are a local business) as donations towards our raffle! If interested please leave a comment and DM us!

We want to introduce you all to our new mini pop up series, El Mercadito! These smaller events allow us to be a little more curated and open up possible networking opportunities with the businesses we partner with! Please come out and support the community so we can continue this series with other local businesses. 😊🫶🏽
