Introducing Our April 6EightSix Volley Athlete Of The Month! “ Sydney Drooker”

Sydney started playing volleyball in 7th grade & played Travel Ball for U-Turn Sports.

During HS Years, Sydney earned:
- Two-time all-state selection, including first team as senior
- Four-time all-district honoree
- All-region honors four times
- District and Conference Player of the Year as Sophomore

College Career:
- Started Division 1 career at UNCW (freshman and sophomore)
- Conference champion as a freshman
- Played both indoor and beach at UNCW: In 2016, totaled 458 digs in 28 matches to rank eighth on UNCW’s all-time single season list

Career at Coastal Carolina: Sun Belt Conference

Junior (2017)
- Conference champion junior year
- Second Team All Conference
- All tournament team

Senior (2018)
- Voted the 2018 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year - First Team All-Sun Belt
- Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week (3x)

Beach at Coastal:
- Named the ASUN Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week - first in Coastal Carolina history
- Voted the ASUN Facebook Fan Vote Preseason Player of the Year
- Named to the ASUN Conference Preseason All-Conference Team
- Competed at the #1 spot for Coastal in 2019 and 2020
