Dogwood Dell RVA

One last look back on the last day of summer. ❤️

The 69th Festival of Arts at Dogwood Dell is officially in the books.

This summer brought music, theatre, dance, art in all forms and plenty of memorable nights under the stars. From the artists on stage to the crowds on the lawn, each night brought something a little different to Dogwood Dell.

Thank you to everyone who was part of the 69th season and helped make another summer at this Richmond tradition one to remember.

🩰 CITY DANCE THEATRE: UNSHAKEN 🩰

One of the dance highlights of this year’s Festival of Arts is coming to the Dell!

For more than 30 years, City Dance Theatre, Inc. has nurtured young Richmond dancers and helped prepare them for what comes next. Based at Pine Camp Arts and Community Center, this pre-professional company features talented dancers ages 7–17, with alumni going on to perform with renowned companies including Dance Theatre of Harlem, Urban Bush Women, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

Now, these incredible young artists take the Dogwood Dell stage for UNSHAKEN — an evening celebrating movement, artistry, strength, and the next generation of Richmond dance.

📅 Friday, August 28
