Pianist Alexander Paley is back in town this weekend, presenting works by Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Anton Arensky and Anton Rubinstein. Alexander and Pei-Wen Chen stopped by the VPM Music studios to talk with Mike Goldberg about this year's festival.

Flashback Thursday! In 1986, Alexander Paley entered the Pancho Vladigerov International Piano Competition - and won the Gold Prize overall, plus a special prize for best performance of the Pancho Vladigerov Concerto No 3.
