Drive-Thru Trick or Treat TOMORROW at City Hall from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm OR until candy runs out. Vehicles will line up on College St from the North. Please stay in your vehicle at all times and follow the vehicle in front of you. For safety reasons, no walk-ups will be allowed. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

DRIVE-THRU TRICK OR TREAT AT CITY HALL
Mark your calendars! Join us for a drive-thru trick or treat event on Saturday, October 31 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Richmond City Hall parking lot. Since the kiddos will not be able to participate in the Annual Trick or Treat Street inside the gym this year, the City of Richmond, with the help of local businesses, is proud to sponsor this modified event.

All participants are encouraged to dress up and drive through the City Hall parking lot. The drive-up trick or treating means all participants must stay in their vehicles at all times. We will pass the candy to you through the car window. Each child in the vehicle will receive a candy bag. No walk-ups will be allowed. More details about this event will be released closer to Halloween.

The Richmond Police Department has entered the planning phase of the 2019 Trick or Treat Street event. As in years past the event will be hosted by the department and will be held on Halloween evening beginning at 5 p.m. at the City Hall gymnasium.

Many area businesses have made this annual event an enjoyable experience for the children of Richmond year after year. The Richmond Police Department is hopeful that the 2019 Trick or Treat Street will delight the little ghosts and goblins once again.

To reach that goal the Richmond Police Department is again seeking sponsors for this annual event. Businesses and individuals may donate candy and or money to purchase candy or donate small items to be given away as prizes. Volunteers are also needed to hand out the candy at each ‘window’ within the Trick or Treat Street.

Donations may be taken to the Richmond City Hall and/or Richmond Police Department on or before Oct. 28. A list of volunteers will also need to be compiled by that date. Please direct questions or comments to the Richmond Police Department at 816-776-3575.
